This Service Instruction for police personnel was provided in response to a Freedom of Information request regarding how the PSNI responds to reported incidents of hate crime against refugees, asylum seekers and other immigrants at their homes.

Following a number of cases in which people have been intimidated from taking up offers of social housing, or have been intimidated out of social homes in which they were living, a second FOI has been submitted requesting numbers of hate crime incidents logged by location and by year.
