The World Economic Forum highlighted projects combatting the digital divide amongst students around the globe, as UK schools continued to draw attention to the ongoing gap in digital access and resources that affected many students even before the pandemic. Charities report that asylum seekers in the UK are struggling to access schooling and other services that have largely moved online to the pandemic, despite the Home Office denying they are impacted by the digital divide.
